We grant you a licence to use Vimpo for your own personal use. Vimpo is provided as is.

Price

Vimpo is free while it is in beta. You will not be charged anything.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for what you download.
• Only download content you have the right to download.
• Follow copyright law and the terms of the site you download from.

Not affiliated with third parties

Vimpo is not affiliated with any video site or AI provider.

Third-party tools

Vimpo uses yt-dlp, ffmpeg, Whisper and other tools. Each is licensed under its own open-source licence.

AI services

If you use an AI provider for subtitle translation, its usage, costs and terms are between you and that provider.

Accuracy of results

AI translations and transcripts can be wrong. Check them before you rely on them.

No warranty and limitation of liability

Vimpo is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from your use of Vimpo or your inability to use it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
